The inspection committee constituted by the Vice-Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University has successfully completed the evaluation of Government Degree College, Re (Kangra), on 20th September 2025 for the purpose of granting permanent affiliation.
The committee included subject experts:
- S.S. Narta (Retired), Department of Commerce, HPU Shimla-5,
- Usha Rani, Department of Hindi (ICDEOL), HPU Shimla-5, and
- Sumiksha Gupta, Principal, Government Degree College, Indora.
The committee conducted a thorough assessment of the academic standards, infrastructure, and all necessary requirements of the college. The objective of this inspection is to secure university affiliation for the B.A. and B.Com. programs for the academic sessions 2023-24, 2024-25, and 2025-26.
The inspection team was warmly welcomed by the Principal of the college, Mrs. Neeru Thakur, along with Assistant Professors Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Jyoti Chaudhary, Vishal, Snehdeep Mishra, Pooja, Neeraj Kumar, and Clerk Bodhraj, as well as other staff members Trishala Kumari, Suman Kumari, Ramlal, and Rajesh Kumar.
The inspection process was successful due to the dedicated efforts and cooperation of the entire staff.
